Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux is vice provost, Aboriginal initiatives at Lakehead University, where she is also an adjunct assistant professor in the Faculty of Anthropology and a research affiliate of the Centre for Health Care Ethics. She is a member of the Chippewa of Georgina Island First Nation in Lake Simcoe, Ontario, serves on the board of Healthy Minds Canada and Teach for Canada.
