Sandy MacDonald is vice president and chief learning officer at Holland College in Prince Edward Island. He was PEI’s first deputy minister for workforce and advanced learning, aimed at integrating labour force issues and postsecondary education. He is the province’s former deputy minister for education and early childhood development, and former superintendent of education for the eastern school district of Charlottetown.
