Richard Wiggers is HEQCO’s executive director of research and programs. He is responsible for managing HEQCO research contracts and projects, including those related to student services, teaching and learning, and work-integrated learning. A frequent presenter at academic conferences across North America, he has taught history and higher education policy at several postsecondary institutions. He holds a BA from Carleton University, a master’s from the University of Ottawa and a PhD from Georgetown University, where he also held a SSHRC doctoral fellowship.
