Lindsay DeClou is a senior policy advisor for the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, working in the Student Financial Assistance Branch. She is a former regional analyst in the Labour Market Information Unit at Service Canada and researcher for the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario. She received her PhD in sociology from McMaster University, where she studied attrition and time-to-completion in Canadian graduate programs.
